About Solar Energy
Gasoline and oil are non-renewable energy sources that will eventually cease to exist on the planet's surface. Notably, oil contributes to environmental degradation as a result of pollution from the combustion process, which produces greenhouse gases that contribute to environmental degradation through global warming. Solar energy is a form of renewable energy that is cheap, clean, and needs little maintenance. As a result, when used on a small and large scale, solar power will provide an alternative energy source to traditional fossil fuels. The following reasons demonstrate the degree to which solar energy is a viable alternative to fossil fuel energy. The fossil fuel deposits are slowly coming to a depletion as a result of over-exploitation and thus steadily increasing the oil prices.
A. Many of the oil deposits in the world cannot sustain the demand for an extended period and thus the need to explore other sources of energy that are cheap to exploit and utilize such as solar.
B. Solar is readily available and abundant, and thus, with proper storage mechanism, it can be used for both domestic and industrial power usages.

2. Fossil fuels bring forth a series of environmental issues that include climate change due to global warming that results from directly burning of fossil fuels.
A. Climate change is slowly becoming catastrophic and apocalyptic damage can take place and thus to save the world from the imminent permanent destruction of the environment, solar energy exploitation is the solution.
B. Mining of coals leaves behind derelict land that results in environmental pollution since the land seizes to be economically viable. Notably, fossil fuels are found underneath, which forces exploiters to destroy the vegetation cover to facilitate exploration and exploitation leading to loss of biodiversity. Solar energy does not cause any damage to biodiversity and presents a clean source of energy that is environmentally friendly.
