Complexity of Evolution
Different explanations on the process of evolution have been brought up by different archeologist. Fossils found in various parts of the world have serve as supporting evidence of the process of evolution. Africa has been considered the cradle of humankind as most materials have been found in Africa. The change in social and political setup of societies has led to complexity in evolution. However, Susan Kus and Smith has pointed out that this change in culture is due to the interaction of people across the globe causing many societies to abandon their way of life and adopt a western culture (Fagan, 39). On the other hand, the article has emphasized the simplicity in evolution. The process of making of making a decision is viewed differently among people. For example, for a Bayesian to make a decision he requires detailed information and a processing power. Many people are willing to accept the new changes that are coming up in the society.
Wengrow relates evolution and civilization. In his explanation, Wengrow states that the process of evolution has been fueled by civilization. The integration of people across the globe has contributed a big percentage in the process of evolution. Integration of people across has increased labor mobility globally. Wengrow differs in opinion from the other scholars in that he relates evolution to the modern technology, unlike the other scholars who relates evolution with the political and cultural change in the society (Rossite, 36). I believe that Wengrow explanation is correct because the process of evolution in the world is mostly influenced by the modern technology. Besides, the political structure has also changed. Today, many countries have embraced a centralized form of government where the leader is selected through a majority vote.
