Consciousness-altering is a habit
Consciousness-altering the habit of social, neurological, or even pharmacological mediated maneuvers. These maneuvers are likely to produce a diversion from the usual conscious state of being. There are practices in which people indulge themselves in which are part of the habit of 'altering consciousness.' In instances where there are anticipated returns from a given task, consciousness-alteration can contribute to imagination and development. It means that the growth of certain practices is realized. There are also numerous altered-state procedures, which contribute to boredom or mental distress (Kalat, 12). These are scenarios associated with negative consequences. An incident in point is cases where no returns are gotten from conscious activities. In such instances, it leads to boredom.
