Ethicalness of Trumps Broadcast
It was not, in my mind, ethical for Mr. Trump to broadcast any kind of information to the media on the reasons for Ms. Kepcher's termination. Only content or stories that revolve about the owner, who is Donald Trump in this situation, should be on a personal blog. This is not the case, though, as Trump moves on to reveal information that should have been discreet to the press. While because of her passion for fame and celebrity, Trump terminated Ms. Kepcher from the Apprentice, he should not have gone ahead to post this information to the public in a personal blog. Termination matters and reasons for termination are usually private and confidential involving the employer and the employee only (Gilbert, 2016). The public did not have to know the reasons for the termination of Ms. Kepcher as it would embarrass her or even make it difficult for her to get another job elsewhere.

Drawing Legal and Ethical Lines
As a society, we should draw legal and ethical lines concerning sharing of a person’s personal information to the public when the person’s dignity or respect is at stake. There should be a top consideration of the repercussions prone to happen when particular personal information is shared with the public. If sharing information about a person will result in either physical or psychological adversity then the individual sharing this information needs to stop because it is going to affect the person involved. Also, before publishing such information, it is crucial to ask permission from the involved party if you should share that information with the public or not (Freeman & Peace, 2005). The person’s consent or denial is what should be the determinant before one can start sharing the personal information with the public. These guidelines are important to consider before sharing any information about a person on any media platform to the public.
