The HFAP (Health Facilities Accreditation Programs) is a non-profit agency certified by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid to support healthcare providers in the maintenance of their patient care principles and in compliance with protocols and the healthcare system (Greenfield & Braithwaite, 2008).
