In my initial outline, I stated that the complexities of the healthcare sector can only be handled by a combination of leadership and management in a health center. However, basing on the feedback I realized that I had to improve my outline by also including how the management skills are helping the leaders to overcome the complexities in their duties in the health sector.
The role of theories in research
The outline can also be improved by incorporating theory approach in the research. According to feedback, theories provide a detailed understanding of concepts and ideas that cannot be easily explained. Through these theories, researchers are given different lenses which they can use to look at complicated aspects in the health sector. This improved my approach as the theories will add more meaning to my research.
The focus on leadership skills in management
Among the feedback I received, I realized that most research studies explore on leadership skills in management but not management skills in leadership. This approach helped me improve my research outline in a way that I had to specify the type of data I will use possibly primary data, and the source from which I will obtain the information concerning my research. The feedback also stated that my approach of "critiquing current health care leadership for the presence of any synergies with managerial skills, or lack thereof was not clear". Therefore, I had to improve this section by making my approach simple and clear to understand. It also enabled me improve on my grammar in the research.
