Rough Draft of Thesis
The rough draft allows the researcher to shift from the outlining or note taking to act of writing. Therefore, the topic is always discussed using clarified and intensified focus. The rough draft is a copy of the paper that will be edited and shaped to form a final research project. In this case, the researcher focuses on the content and flow of records instead of the small details of the project. Introductions, body paragraphs and conclusions are the major elements of a draft. It is important to maintain a logical and consistent development of the draft (Lester, & Lester Jr, 2015). There should be a smooth transition from one point to the other. Also, use simple and compound sentences to change the sentence structures. A thesis statement, background information and clear perspective should be included in the rough draft. The paragraph should not be too short but medium in size. Furthermore, critical perspectives and interpretation should be supported with a data and cited using relevant materials. The conclusion summarizes all the information in the introduction of the project. It captures the main ideas presented in the entire research work.
Challenges
When writing, it is possible to omit relevant information that may be necessary for the final paper. Also, identifying required data and records to include in the draft may be a problem. There is a challenge of forgetting the relevant ideas and realizing it while completing the draft.
Guidance
I require guidance on how to present a brief introduction and body paragraphs. Also, it is important to understand the how to develop proper sections that with a good flow of ideas. I need guidance on writing relevant conclusions of the study. Finally, knowing the types of sentences to include in body paragraphs would help in proving proper rough draft.
