The primary outcome is that people on both sides share a single link to get input on a certain topic/discussion. Technology, on the other hand, is the development of technical experience with the aim of achieving realistic outcomes. Any of these professionals wish to achieve a break from the past models of carrying out such practices. The availability of machinery and facilities that will aid in the process of completing their task is greatly illustrated. In the current setup, the trend in technology has demonstrated changes in the model of communication that is being practiced in society.

Superiority of Traditional Communication Skills

The majority of current technology has been improved from the past techniques that were being applied in society. It is then viewed as the pioneers of effective communication in society. For example, the ancient model of communication would hardly be altered by the senders. Irrespective of the aspect of delays through the transportation means, a significant level of trust was instilled into the originator. On the other hand, the receiver will then offer a first-hand response based on the piece of information that has been delivered.
In some instances, sex was a major player in the transmission of information to another party. It was further believed that a particular sex had a concise way that would create proper delivery of a message from the sender. According to Halberstadt (273), the masculine class in society was deemed to be the best decoders of a message compared to the female population in society.
The use of a typewriter is one of the ancient technologies that was being used in communication. It also helped in developing a social relation as the operators used the gadget while in an open office setting. It was a type of technology that involved the majority of hand work with all systems based on manual operations. It is considered as an appropriate social tool as the public would share ideologies on how best to operate such gadgets. Similarly, in the Stone Age, communities often passed information through drumming and setting up the fire. It was a strategy to grab the public’s attention and form a gathering to receive these pieces of information. It strongly involved the society with people taking the responsibility of passing notice to the distant homestead concerning the gatherings.
In the traditional homes, people were often classified based on sex and age with the elderly initiating the socialization activities. It was based on the aspects of ethics and provision of directives on how best an individual can improve their ways of life. An instance of foregoing these meetings would lead to punishment from the group leaders. It is relatively a slow process in the current setting as people concentrate more on their safety and the social class to which they belong. The monarchs were also viewed as the advantaged in society as they owned the majority of the transportation and communication facilities. People were then subjected to training to have the experience on how they would operate these facilities. Horse riding was one of the primary activities that were being initiated into the society with the male population asked to deliver certain commodities to designated places.

Benefits of Current Technology

In the current society, the use of appropriate technology is the sole determinant of the type of feedback to be received and the type of information that is to be passed. In comparison to the past ways of communication, responses can also be attained by real-time, giving an opportunity to respond to these pieces of information. Standardization is an absolute factor that most communicators apply in their communication techniques. Furthermore, standardized groups often deliver a higher mean overall technical and global skill score. Bath (230) further concludes that an approximate 72% of people in society prefer a standardized approach to delivering information.
New applications are being invented by scientists to improve the medium of communication in society. It is a common practice among telecommunication companies with the desire to reach a broader market for a single time. It further shadows the previous technologies and mediums like the use of a horse in transporting any notice. In case of an accident or a tear of the document, the receiver stands a higher chance of receiving revised information or a turn back by the sender to redraft the notice. An alert app created by the telecommunication companies’ help an employee to identify any hazard that is likely to occur (Eisenberg 2). In the hospitality industry, hotels are changing their menus assist the clients in determining the services provided on an online platform. According to Goetter (3), these hotels will reap high sales, customer satisfaction, and decreased need for printing of certain materials.
The introduction of the internet in society has further proven the development of discrimination as some societies do not have similar opportunities of receiving information. The type of gadgets that people own is a determinant of how soon an individual will receive information from another party; I have then left a particular group of individuals with limited information and a social way of life. The internet has also created an increased level of immorality in the society. The younger generation is exposed to material that gives a different interpretation of how they conduct themselves in a society which is the opposite of the past generation. The current generation is heavily concentrated with the aspects of humor and neglect the need of attaining knowledge. It heavily tarnished their model of socialization as they have to keep up with the trend leaving the majority under fixation.
The internet also makes socialization an expensive affair as people will have to purchase several gadgets to receive a similar quantity of entertainment. Nevertheless, these gadgets do not have a similar coverage as the geographical locations play a significant role in this limitation. Therefore an individual is left with one option of traveling to an appropriate location to attain the desired model of socialization. It is significantly different from the past generation where social activities were executed at the same time. This can then be concluded that the ancient model of interaction possesses a relatively greater advantage of the current model of socialization and communication. On the contrary, the emergence of the internet maintains an edge on the speed at which an individual can attain information and presentation of feedback. An individual in the current generation will quickly get updated with data compared to the public of the ancient era.
In conclusion, the past technologies are considered as the trend setters on the type of technology that any firm or person may wish to apply in their activities. The use of technology has also created an increased the level of communication in the delivery of any notice. However, the concept of technology is also used to determine the standard of development that is witnessed in society.
