The film analysis of the Night and Fog
This movie shows how two boys were forced out of their homes because of financial problems, and how they were determined to find fortune in a different place. As the story goes, they took a train to the east. On their way, they became friends with other street boys. On getting to Ohio, the train management throws them to the streets. They have strong hopes and design a camp to live in for the night. The young boys had the determination to make a living, and they finally succeed in the end. On the other hand, the Night and Fog movie shows a scene where a country builds a torture camp. The residents are not aware that pain and anguish they will face in this camp are immeasurable. A group of people has organized themselves to torture the residents. Once the people enter the camp, they are tortured and numbered. No one is safe including those visiting the hospitals. Every organization is a murder scene. The rulers seem to be enjoying the scene because they appear to be entertained.
Central metaphor
The central metaphor in the two movies is the use of a small group to represent the entire population of the country. For instance, the scriptwriter uses the two boys to represent the population in the movie ‘Wild boys of the road'. He further uses the boy’s financial struggles as a picture of the unemployment issue facing the country. In search of liberation, the writer shows the problems the boys faced with the police to bring out the struggle of the liberation process. At the end of the movie, the writer introduces us to the expected liberation as he uses the judge in the juvenile court to express his promise to help the boys and promise to offer jobs to their parents. While in the movie ‘Night and Fog,' the writer uses different colors throughout the movie to depict different timelines. He uses black and white for the past and colors to show the present.
Capitalism
It refers to the act of converting meaning into value and the re-conversion of the same. Art capitalism has been used to express ideas and their appearance in the revolutions that happen in countries. It is mainly not economical but political. Art capitalism gives the political happenings an artistic form whereas the central metaphor provides the item in discussion with a different comparative feature.
In proletarian 1933, the scriptwriter of the movie ‘Wild boy of the Road’ describes the boys as the middle class in a revolutionary political country. He aims at encouraging people, comparing them to the wild boys, assuring them of their financial stability over time and their success through the changes. Even though the people faced problems during the depression period, there is assurance of liberty in the end.
In the society, art capitalism helps in the expression of ideas, history recording, and beautification of scripts about the political occurrences in a period. The world’s political happenings have affected the world of art in different forms by giving them not only artistic ideas but also helping them document happenings for future learning and use (Sholette 13).
Analysis capitalism
This refers to a form of art writing that majors on the study and expression of the political happenings in a country. It documents such incidents from the beginning to the end. For instance, the movie ‘Wild boys of the road’ discuss the depression in the USA beginning from how unemployment caused the stir to the point where the country had hopes of liberation. In such a case the writer analyses the reasons for the political uproar, the effects of the uproar and finally the recommendations.
