The Music Playlist Prompt

Music for weddings or new romance will be the focus of this article. In our lives, weddings are significant social occasions. During such occasions, everyone anticipates something special to bring them joy. Music has always been important at weddings; it ensures that everyone has a pleasant, elegant background decoration for the event. During wedding ceremonies, listening to slow and romantic music allows us to enjoy those special moments filled with joy and happiness.
My wedding playlist will make the event more romantic and colorful.

In the song “You’ve got a friend in me”, written and initially recorded by Randy Newman portrays the relationship of the couple. It reminds them that they have each other despite what they might face in future. The song pictures the couple also to share similar troubles during which they will stick together. Their relationship according to the song is one that is not likely to ever die. Relationships between individuals should always be contributed to their social life and well-being. "A Thousand Years," by Christina Perri gives a love story for the new couple (https://youtu.be/ZJSeyG_DrkY). With such a song, the couple can cherish their moment as they reflect on their history; of a journey comprised of commitment and love they have walked through together. Now the engagement of the relationship has been sealed in the presence of the family. The song is also an encouragement that the couple should not be afraid of anything as long as they have each other. When the two are portrayed to console each other share in their sad moments and also share their joy as love as they are in love ("The Significance of Marriage - Blessing and Ideal Family (Part 1) - Sun Myung Moon").
Another song on my play list is “Grow Old with Me” Tom Odell wrote it and released in 2013. Thomas Peter is a singer and a song writer. He won BRITs critics in the year 2012 and also won Choice Award in 2013. He has other love songs like “Another Love” and “Can’t Pretend”. In his song “Grow old with me” he shows how romantic couples are regarding their feelings for each other (withhttps://youtu.be/5rgHYP0dD_4).
“Grow Old with me” is relevant to my theme since it shows the care couples and people starting new romance lives have for each other. It also inspires a couple on their wedding in that they want to grow old with each other ceremony. All couples always want to grow old with each other. It comes by making certain commitments, and there should be trust and honor of each other (Vita, n.p).
In the song “Yours" by written by Russell Dickerson, “Yours” means that I was this before, but now I am yours; that is where the song gets its title. Couples can see themselves as nothing without each other and before they had met each other but now they seem to be better than before. The couple at a wedding celebration can picture how their journey of love has been; how they are at their best when around each other and how lost they could be without each other https://youtu.be/0w85mExybS4.
In my playlist, there is “Marry You” a song written by Bruno Mars who is an American singer and songwriter too. For some people during wedding occasions and new romances, the only thing they think of is marrying each other, and their thoughts revolve around that. It is dumb how you just started a new relationship with someone, and you are already picturing a marriage with the same person. “Cheerleader” was written by a Jamaican singer by the name Omi describes a relationship and focuses on my theme in this paper. How parents have accepted the choices of each party and given their blessings and are ready to support the couple. The song is another love story (https://youtu.be/jGflUbPQfW8).
Adele’s song by the name “Make you feel my love” revolves around another love story where promises are made and would well suit and rock a wedding occasion. The couple would do anything for each other even going around the world with each other; meaning they cannot leave each other’s site (https://youtu.be/9m1YhLqeTNQ).

What inspires the musical artists?

Some of the artists like Russell Dickerson were inspired by relationships they previously had. They wanted to come up with a true song which was honest. Since his friends had witnessed his relationship, the song came out so real, getting him so many wedding invitations. Some artists like the case of Bruno Mars just freestyle songs and the outcome of that how they feel singing and how it sounds when they sing inspires them to finish writing their songs. Their own fantasies inspire some artists.

The power of music in general

The Pieces of different music move people. When one actively engages in music, he/she sharpen their brains by encoding the exact sound. Instruments are parts of music and learning one has an impact on your intellectual development primarily spatial reasoning. Music enables one to attain creativity; personal growth is also enhanced within an individual together with social development. There are health benefits associated with singing. People who sing do not experience stress. Songs improve one’s moods and improve the breathing system. Music impacts on our intellectual, personal development and social interactions with others (Hallam, 6).
Music has over years influenced people and their cultures. Today, music is used in individual health centers to help patients during their recovery. Music helps patients relax and reduces anxiety and also the confusion they might be experiencing. In counseling sessions, therapists use music which is usually guided as per the requirement of the therapy. Music is also used in the healing process of some mental disorders, depression and other diseases like schizophrenia (Kent, 2).
When one listens to music, he/she is physically and mentally healed. Music reduces chances of fatigue which might occur due to pressure in the workplace on even certain medications as with cases of different patients. The music maintains pulse rate to normal and also respiratory rates are maintained. Music also regulates the external blood pressure.
Music can change emotions since it is capable of predicting behavior. Music is also a form of communication. It can be used to pass some messages to the audience. Music can be used by teenagers to help them control their emotions which affect many during their teenage hood (Kent, 3).
