The President
Response to Question 1
Among the various leadership roles held by the president, an essential role led was to my opinion is the Chief Executive position. The position performs a very crucial and vital role in the maintenance and protection of the Nation’s constitution which represents the people’s rights, and that is why I feel the position is the most precious one. By holding this role, the president hires the heads of different bureaucracy, and this is where the most critical decision is reached by the political elected persons and the department's nominated leaders (Carlson). Also, the president’s chosen persons represent the will of the citizens of that country, and therefore this position has essential tasks made by the president as compared to other hats.
Response to Question 2
Treaties negotiation powers to the president are awarded by the hat of Chief Diplomat. The position of Chief Diplomat gives the president the responsibility to lead as the country’s representative among other nations. The President oversees all the foreign policy, appoints and receives the ambassadors, negotiates treaties and the executive agreements and gives diplomatic recognition to the foreign countries. In the exercising the powers attained to the president by the constitution, the Congress is vigilant to the moves made by the president in order not to surpass or misuse the powers granted by the people via the law. In the case where the president is assumed to have misconduct of the hat then the Senate is bound to reject the treaties or the appointments.
Response to Question 3
I think the president has too few responsibilities to hold. The five hats awarded to the president are much less because the country is subjected to many critical issues that need the direct command of the president for an urgent action to be taken. The expansion for the additions of the new hats to at least seven can be possibly be done through the constitutional amendments by the Congress and the Senate which will then be signed into the laws by the president himself as the Chief Legislator. It is necessary to incorporate Economic Chief and the Party Chief as the new hats to the existing roles of the president.

Response to Question 5
Reading through the chapter 12 of Government in America it is evident that the presidential powers sharply increased after the World War II (Morrissey). The powers increment to the president was fueled by the many years of foreign emergencies in the country and an increased domestic economic centralization caused by the foreigners. The Congress initially had it rough to oppose most of the critical assertions faced by the executive authority the matter that explodes the Watergate episode that brought legislators discuss face to face both the Democrats and the Republicans. The agenda to the discussion was the presidential powers and the problems attached to them, framed not to be a political principle but as the criminal case.
