The Psycho
The Psycho is a significant picture in terms of both its production and the topics it explores. The film's director, Alfred Hitchcock, tells Francisco that the film belongs to those who made it, to him, and to all the viewers. There was no other work of Hitchcock that has had such a greater impact. In this movie, the director tries to give directions to the audiences who loved this film so much. This picture even stands out to be one of the shocking films that the original audience of Hitchcock had ever seen. Most of the surprises in this work have not been revealed (Thomas 38). Most of them have also been hidden such that the regular viewers cannot anticipate some of these surprises that were in store for this film. One of such surprises is Janet Leigh who is the murderer of Marion. She turns out to be the heroine in these works. This assassin has only been presented in this film one-third of the way. The second surprises that are evident here are the secrets that the mother of Norman had kept for such a long time. To ensure that this movie was promoted, the director advises the viewers to start watching the movie from the beginning so that they would get the full insight of this particular film. This would turn out to be the best way to which the viewers would fully understand this movie.
Point of Correction
If I were given a chance to edit this particular movie, I would consider the situation of the doctor. I would do my best to ensure that the first explanation that is given by the physician on the nature of Norman is included only. The doctor asserts that Norman is no longer in existence. He adds that he only lived half of his current life and the other half has not taken charge and, therefore, represents his life after changing. The other things that the psychiatrist has said will be cut out. This is because the already captured part is much important when it comes to realizing the personality of this outshining character in the story. When these edits have been made, then I believe the Psycho will get out be a perfect movie to view.
Why Psycho is Immortal
This film can be said to be immortal because it tries to establish the fears that we usually have in life. This is because it happens that most films are forgotten when people leave the theater. Most of these concerns are inclined on the fact that we can impulsively commit any criminal activity. It also aligns our interests of the police department and that of turning out to be a victim of the mad manhood. It also talks about the fear of our mothers being disappointed.
